Faculty and Staff Inservice

As we prepare for the start of a new school year, Tennessee Christian's faculty and staff will gather August 3–7 for our annual In-Service Week. This important time allows us to welcome new faculty and staff members, engage in meaningful professional development, pursue continuous improvement, and align our hearts and minds around our shared mission.

Throughout the week, our team will participate in training sessions, collaborative planning, and discussions focused on best practices in teaching and learning. We will also spend time reflecting on how we can continue to strengthen our school community and provide the highest quality educational experience for every student entrusted to our care.

At the center of our work is a commitment to holistic student success. We believe education is about more than academic achievement alone. Our goal is to help students grow intellectually, spiritually, socially, emotionally, and physically as they develop into young men and women who know, love, and follow Christ.

In-Service Week also provides an opportunity for our faculty and staff to renew our commitment to the mission and values that make Tennessee Christian a unique learning community. Together, we will seek God's wisdom and guidance as we prepare to serve our students and families in the coming year.

We invite all Tennessee Christian families to partner with us in prayer during this special week. Please pray for our faculty and staff as they prepare for the year ahead, for our new team members as they join our community, and for our students and families as they anticipate the start of school. Most importantly, pray that everything we do will be rooted in God's truth and that He will use this school year to transform lives for His glory.

Flight School

On August 7, Tennessee Christian will welcome our newest Hawks for Flight School, a special preview day designed just for incoming Kindergarten students. This exciting event gives our youngest learners an opportunity to meet teachers, explore classrooms, and get a glimpse of what life as a Tennessee Christian Hawk is all about.

For many children, Flight School brings a mix of excitement, curiosity, and a few nervous butterflies. For parents, it marks another milestone in the journey of watching their children grow. We know there may be a few tears from moms and dads as they see their little ones take this important step, but our faculty and staff are ready to welcome every child with warmth, encouragement, and care.

We look forward to helping our newest Hawks spread their wings and begin a wonderful journey of learning, growth, and faith. Families participating in Flight School will receive detailed event information by email prior to August 7.
