Admissions FAQ

Campus-wide hours:

 ￮  Student drop-off begins at 7:30 AM
 ￮  Classes begin at 8:00 AM
 ￮  Student dismissal is 3:00 PM

Aftercare is an option available to select grades from 3:15 PM until 5:30 PM (additional fees apply).

We believe in the quality of our education over the quantity. To offer additional support, some classes have floating teachers and teacher aides assigned. Below are the desired averages per division: 

 ￮  Learning Cottage Preschool 10:1
 ￮  Lower School - 12:1
 ￮  Middle School - 16:1
 ￮  Upper School - 16:1

Although we desire smaller class sizes, we do evaluate slight variations per grade each school year. Potential adjustments are not only heavily weighed (e.g., class dynamics, academic strengths, length of enrollment, teacher experience and seasonality, etc.) but are prayerfully considered by our Leadership Team.

God’s eternal Word, the Holy Bible, is the ultimate source and foundation of all truth. Since we recognize that all truth comes from God, we encourage intellectual exploration of diverse views through the lens of Christian faith. Both students and teachers may raise honest questions and seek answers to them without reluctance. With an emphasis on discernment, memorization, and practical application, students will use the English Standard Version (ESV) Bible for all core curricula.

From our Toddler class up through 12th grade, Tennessee Christian Preparatory School (TCPS) provides each student with a unique educational journey. With Christ at the center of everything we do, we focus on the holistic growth of each student by encompassing so much more than academics. Starting as early as eighteen months old, each grade level offers a curriculum designed to prepare the students, academically and spiritually, for their next steps, beginning with skills of independence and ending with preparation for college, the workforce, and adulthood. Specific curricula vary by grade level, class, and subject, several of which have been created in-house. 

With the dedication and diligence of our students and teachers, we are proud to share an average ACT score of 25.
