Tennessee Christian's Need-Based Tuition Assistance (TA)
Tennessee Christian Preparatory School offers eligible families need-based tuition assistance to students whose performance indicates academic motivation as well as exemplary behavior and attendance. We use FACTS Grant and Aid Assessment Services to provide a thorough evaluation of all qualified tuition assistance applications. A $45 application fee is required at the time of submission.

• Award Amount:
  • Tuition Assistance is determined per student, not per family, and will only be
    considered after the applicable student's admission application has been reviewed by
    the Admissions Committee.
  • The Tuition Assistance Committee will review the recommendation made by FACTS to
    determine the amount of assistance the applicant might be eligible to receive.
  • Tuition Assistance is granted and continued throughout the approved period only if
    funds are available and all guidelines are met.
  • If qualified, Tuition Assistance is awarded for one school year only.
  • For each new school year Tuition Assistance is desired, supplemental information will
    be required and must be provided by the annual deadline.
  • Need-based Tuition Assistance will not be provided to cover the cost of annual school
    fees. Enrollment, Technology, and other fees must be paid in full prior to receiving
    Tuition Assistance.
• Eligibility Highlights:
  • The application process for Tuition Assistance is available for rising K-12th-grade
    students.
  • The parent/guardian must file a FACTS Student Aid Form in order to apply for
    need-based tuition assistance.
  • A student's admission application must be submitted prior to beginning the application
    for Tuition Assistance.
  • If Tuition Assistance is awarded to a student, that does not guarantee academic
    acceptance (the remaining enrollment process is required).
  • The Admissions Committee works closely with the Tuition Assistance Committee, and
    they are completely separate processes.
  • FACTS will require income verification and will require that you upload supporting
    documents (Tax Returns, W-2's, etc.).
  • The parent/guardian must provide, along with the FACTS form, the most recent
    income tax return that was submitted to the IRS as well as a copy of a recent
    paycheck stub for every employed member of the family along with any other
    materials requested by FACTS.
• Key Dates:
  • Applications for the 2027-28 school year.
    • Returning Families: Applications open on Monday, February 1, 2027
    • New Families: Applications open on Monday, February 1, 2027
  • All applications for the 2026-27 school year are closed.
  • Awards are granted on a first-come, first-served basis and subject to available funds and demonstrated need.

Tennessee Education Freedom Scholarship (EFS) Program
The Tennessee Education Freedom Scholarship (EFS) program provides eligible families with scholarships to help cover private school tuition and related educational expenses.

• Scholarship Amount:
  • The scholarship amount for the 2026-27 school year is $7,530.
  • The scholarship amount for the 2027-28 school year is TBD.
• Eligibility Highlights:
  • 35,000 scholarships available
  • The Tennessee Department of Education determines EFS eligibility and scholarship awards.
  • Tennessee Christian does not make state eligibility decisions.
  • Students must be Tennessee residents and lawfully present in the U.S.
  • Families should refer to official TDOE guidance for eligibility questions.

  • Applications for the 2027-28 school year
    • Renewal applications: open date TBD
    • New applications: open date TBD
  • Applications for the 2026-27 school year are closed.
  • Scholarships are awarded on a first-come, first-served basis.

At Tennessee Christian:
Tennessee Christian Preparatory School is a participating school, making a Christ-centered education more accessible through this program.

EFS eligibility and TCPS admission are separate processes. Families must complete Tennessee Christian's normal application, admission, acceptance, and enrollment requirements.
